Recipe #2: Apple-and-Date Muffins

Apple-Date Muffins
These muffins were quite good, though they did not look anything like the pale muffins shown in the recipe book. Whatever those muffins were made with, it wasn't the whole wheat flour and All-Bran called for in the recipe, that's for sure.

The recipe instructions were easy to follow, although I recommend preparing the chopped fruits ahead of time.

The muffins were moist, not too sweet, with a nice texture, especially for a bran muffin.

The recipe said it made 10 muffins. Since I have only a 6-muffin small pan and a 6-muffin large pan, I made 6 small muffins and 3 large ones. Both came out delicious in about the same amount of time.

I give this recipe and its product full marks: 5 out of 5.
